Deadwood Lead Economic Development Corporation established a revolving loan fund with grants provided by the USDA. Loans are intended to create and/or retain jobs through start-up businesses or business expansion. The DLEDC was established in 1989, and since then they have supported approximately 100 businesses, and has invested nearly $15 million.
